GEM Lifestyle soft launches Sat 8 Nov 2008 at the Marriott Hotel Windsor

The date, Sat 8 Nov 2008. The venue, Marriott Hotel, WIndsor. The event, the GEM Lifestyle soft launch. Kicking the afternoon off was Elaine Fishberg.  She started off by introducing Chris Copeland to the stage. Chris is the man who convinced Mark Campbell that they should take GEM Lifetsyle down the Network Marketing route and not the conventional business route. Chris gave the audience a little bit of his background and how he came to meet and work with Mark Campbell many years ago. Chris introduced his long term friend and colleague Mark Campbell. Mark is the founder of GEM Lifestyle. Mark spoke to us about his vision with GEM Lifestyle.

Mark Campbell Introduced some of the GEM staff including Ruby Shuckle (HR), Kemy Hicks (e-Marketing), David Bailey (Financial Analyst) and Glen Dumbrell (Financial Analyst).

Mark Campbell was then back on the stage for the most exciting part of the day.  He showed us around the virtual 3D world of GEM Island.  We spent some money on the Roulette Wheel.  We then had a look in some of the shops including Dunhill and Gucci where we could spend our winnings.  The Dunhill shop is an exact replica of the Dunhill shop in London and the Gucci shop is an exact replica of the Gucci shop in Roma. We interacted with some of the avatars, 3D ‘people’, and listened to what the bar man had to tell us.

Shush Arya (the UK Team Leader for GEM Lifetsyle) went through the payment structure and highlighted the requirments to enter to Ruby Pool, the Saphire Pool, the Emerald Pool and the Diamond Pool.

Chris Jones from Scott & Jones PR Agency highlighted some of the things they had been working including the very exciting Gem Lifestyle monthly eZine.  We had a look through the first edition.

Peter Powderham was then invited up onto the stage and as usual, gave a talk from the heart. If ever there was a person so passionate about network marketing and GEM Lifestyle, it is Peter. He gave us an insight as to what network marketing can bring to a person’s life. He spoke about how he first got involved with network marketing, his lifestyle, what GEM Lifestyle is, how GEM Lifetsyle is different from other network marketing companies and how GEM Lifestyle could transform our lives.

Finally, after the launch had finished, Charles Chisnall was available to help us understand more clearly the commission structure that he has designed for GEM. He very kindly spent some time going through the pay plan and how we could maximise our efforts by building our businesses in the right way.
